With over 25 years of dedication to education, I bring extensive experience as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, and instructional coach. I am passionate about supporting students who face challenges in reading and writing, helping them achieve high levels of success. Currently a doctoral candidate specializing in reading leadership with a concentration in language and literacy, I am committed to advancing literacy education through innovative practices and evidence-based strategies.
My approach to teaching literacy is grounded in the science of reading instruction. At Now You’re Reading I follow a structured, systematic approach that includes individualized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs, based on thorough assessments. This method ensures that every learner receives the targeted support they need to make meaningful progress.
As a credentialed Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and multilingual learner-endorsed educator, I possess specialized expertise in addressing diverse learning needs. My individualized literacy tutoring services are designed to empower students with the confidence and skills to thrive academically. Additionally, I can provide literacy education consulting services for public and private schools, as well as teacher preparedness programs in colleges and universities, supporting educators with the tools to foster literacy growth in their classrooms.
